Friday Fun: 7 Links Challenge
Because it’s Friday and I have nothing else to post, I thought I’d do something fun and jump on the 7 Links Challenge bandwagon. Forget the fact that no one actually ever nominated me to participate. I do what I want.
Most Beautiful Post: If You’re Going to San Francisco
That vegan enchilada was beautiful, but really I’m talking about the Pacific Coast Highway pictures.
Runner-up: A Birthday Letter
Most Popular Post: WIAW: Best of Breakfast
I shouldn’t be surprised — I knew I had a bunch of breakfast fanatics on my hands.
Most Controversial: When Did We Get So Scared?
A post on my attitude towards the gluten-free/dairy-free movement, which was greeted by many thoughtful and supportive comments 🙂
Runner-up: The Ugly Truth
On how I do consume alcohol and don’t feel bad about it. Re-reading this post, I’m actually really proud of myself for being able to explain why I do drink occasionally.
Most Helpful: How I Grocery Shop
Runner-up: Final Reflections: 7 Days of Yoga
A post whose success surprised you: An Honest Post
I was absolutely blown away by the responses I got to this post on feeling a little lost after graduating college. In fact, the comments still make my heart gush 🙂
Runner-up: Ponderings
A look at the non-food related happenings in my life.
A post you feel didn’t get the attention it deserved: Every single post Joey has shared.
My heart melts when I think about how much time and effort Joey put into guest posting for me for an entire week while I was on vacation and I wish I had had more readers at the time so his hard work had gotten more attention.
The post you are most proud of: Two-way tie between…
Denver Rock’n’Roll Half Marathon!
And…
Runner-up: Ten Mile Saturday
So proud I cried.
And then ate a giant bowl of mac and cheese.
I had so many more posts that I wanted to include but figured I’d already worn out my welcome by posting way more than 7 links.
And now that I’m feeling all kinds of sentimental about things I’ve posted about and comments I’ve received in return, I’m off to enjoy my Friday off 🙂
Hoping you do the same!

What is your proudest accomplishment?
What is the most beautiful place you have ever visited?
I WAS A READER WHEN JOEY GUEST POSTED!!! I remember that last summer! He did an awesome job!
I remember you being one of the few commenters! Thanks, Chelsey 🙂
I’m actually really glad you did this because I (sadly) only found you pretty recently, so I now I know which posts of yours I should go and read/stalk!
Perfect!
I love these 7 link posts! Especially because I’ve only discovered your amazing blog a few months ago, and it’s nice to be pointed towards the posts that you loved the most 😀 Gonna go visit them now.
My proudest accomplishment would definitely be beating my eating disorder… and I guess I could throw graduating college in there too. As for the most beautiful place I visited, I think it would have to be Paris. I was still too teeny tiny to appreciate it fully, but it’s definitely a gorgeous place and I have to go back someday.
That’s one heck of an accomplishment, lady 🙂
You had me at your first paragraph: “I do what I want“. Speaking of which, I still remember a guest post by Joey in which he did up some tacos right after you were dissing tacos in the previous post. It was like a taco redemption, and for that, I thank him. 😉
I’ll pass the message on.
I am just catching up on all of these links! loved them! great choices girl. My most proudest momement would be my graduating high school and getting my grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music. The most beautiful place I have seen yet would be Prince Edward Island! I love the red sand 🙂
Red sand sounds beautiful!
I love your face in the birthday letter pic- SO cute and you look so in loooooooveeeee 🙂 I’m about to go read your post on why you do drink now- amen sistah. I like to be healthy and I like to drink too- sometimes it’s just fun to let loose. What I SHOULD read is 10 mile Saturday for some pre-run inspiration. -Jamie
OH p.s. Arizona is beautiful- I was there a couple weeks ago but for work and I was alone so I definitely didn’t enjoy it to its fullest!
