12 Days of Cookies
Nothing like waking up on December 1st to a fresh new layer of snow, right?
How about waking up to a fresh new layer of snow, deciding to skip yoga and snuggling up in bed for an extra half an hour instead? Pure bliss.
Mother Nature is just begging me to stay home and bake cookies all.day.long. And I’m happy to oblige.
Maybe it was the Ginger Cremes or the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies or my homemade roll-making success, but I’ve been bit by the baking bug.
I want to bake myself into a coma. So I’m doing just that. One batch of cookies at a time.
Until I’ve baked 12 batches of cookies, or until my face in numb from sugar intoxication. Whichever comes first.
Look, I even have a separate board to pin cookies on. And now that I have one, I don’t know remember what my life was like before it.
I have no idea how I’m going to organize this or more importantly, how I’m going to narrow my cookie recipes down to 12, but I’m ready to get my bake on and to share it all with you.
Let the cookie baking commence!

What’s your all-time favorite cookie?
Are you more of a baker or a cook?
I’m definitely more of a baker than a cook and that’s A-ok by me!
Favorite cookie? That’s impossible to answer! At this time of year i do have a weakness for a really good gingerbread/molasses cookie, but it has to be perfect. Or a good sugar cookie. Yummmmmmm……
I am abit of both! Can’t wait to bake my life away 🙂
what are you going to do with all those cookies? 🙂
Share them with co-workers, friends, family and strangers, ha ha 🙂
I LOVE cookies and I can’t even pick an all-time favorite! I love sugar cookies, shortbread cookies, gingerbread cookies, jam cookies…I can’t think of any I don’t like! I was actually thinking earlier this week about doing 12 days of Christmas treats, but then I quickly realized that I’m in exams for the next two weeks and so I definitely don’t have time. But hopefully I’ll get a few good cookie batches in before the end of the year! Have fun with your baking!
Cowboy Cookies are my all tie favorite, with just plain old chocolate chip a close second. Oh and I really love a good snickerdoodle….um who am I kidding, I just love cookies. As long as they are big and soft I am happy 🙂
I so wish I lived close to you to enjoy your 12 days of cookies!!
I am a 100% baker. As a matter of fact, the only things I can “cook” are eggs, pasta, and sandwiches. Heh heh.
I never get tired of oatmeal raisin 🙂
I just want to let you know that I will most certainly be stealing all of your cookie recipes. I had to try those double chocolate peppermint cookies you made a while ago, but for some reason my baking time was way off and the texture just wasnt happening for me; I blame Colorado and this damn altitude. And my advice would be not to narrow the search, but rather extend it. 23 days of cookies anyone? That way it will match up with my Christmas movie watching on abc family! Of course, that sugar overdose would come a lot sooner.
Ahhh I love Christmas cookies so much! I love how you have a pin board dedicated just to them. And I’m definitly more of a baker. I like to cook, but baking is definitly my thing.
