5 More Things to be Grateful for this Friday
1. My mom.
Who makes sure I get my car in to get the oil changed, let’s me sob hysterically about things that a) don’t matter or b) make me sound like a crazy person, continues to let me come get massages every week without paying, cooks ridiculously good food, proof reads anything I need her to and so much more.
Without her I wouldn’t have plates to eat off of, a beautiful face of freckles, a sense of humor about pickles or a permanent love for Cream of Wheat.
In short, I wouldn’t be me.
2. Yoga.
For making me feel strong and beautiful.
3. For breakfast.
To power me through stressful days at work, to share with a loved one or just to fill my hungry stomach.
I know, this one seems kind of stupid, but not everyone chooses or gets to eat breakfast, so I’m grateful.
3. Quiet mornings.
For the beauty, solitude and peace of mind they bring.
4. Cookies.
You have to be grateful for the little things too.
5. For you.
I’m eternally grateful to have found so many kind-hearted food-loving people through this blog writing experience.
I read every.single.comment. you all leave, and they make me so happy 🙂
Thanks.

What are you grateful for this week?
I’m grateful for wonderful bloggers like you! 🙂 And I also am thankful that over Thanksgiving I’ll be able to pick up my yoga mat that I forgot at home! Yoga definitely needs to return to my life.
It’s the little things that count! I’m thankful for my family, without them, I may not have been able to get through the past 18 months of grieving and wondering what life had in store for me.
What a genuinely sweet post LoDo (!!! ya like that? 😛 )
I’ve been taking a bit more time to reflect on what I’m grateful for as well.
Have a fabulous weekend!
Hahahaha, LOVE that!
Aww, great post! You and your mom are completely adorable. And cookies are more than a little thing to be thankful for if you ask me, they can make even the worst day better!
I’d be grateful if you sent me some of those cookies. 😉
But really I’m grateful for coffee. and dayquil. and boyfriends. (Ok, boyfriend.)
This post was so sweet! I don’t know what I would do without my mama either. So cute.
We all should feel strong and beautiful, thank you yoga!!
I love, love, love freckles. I’m thankful for my nose full of them.
