It’s My Birthday…

And I’ll post if I want to!

I’ve been planning this post all week.  And consequently have had, “It’s My Party (and I’ll cry if I want to)” stuck in my head all week long.

And by “planning,” I mean I knew what I’d title the post and absolutely nothing else.  I’m really organized 😛

So technically my birthday’s not until Saturday, but who doesn’t like stretching out a holiday that’s all about them?  So let’s start celebrating today, shall we?

Fun Not-so-fun-for-everyone-who-has-to-be-around-me Fact:  I’m notorious for doing whatever the heck I want on my birthday and justifying it with my favorite phrase: “It’s my birthday!”

As in, “you have to drive the entire 6 hours to Santa Fe, it’s my birthday!”

Or “you have to fit me in for a massage, Mom, it’s my birthday!”

Or “you’re paying for lunch today, Sister, it’s my birthday!”

Or maybe even, “I’m not posting any pictures today, it’s my birthday!”

Yeah, I like that one. 

Or better yet, “I’m not posting at all this weekend, it’s my birthday!”

So, with that said, I bid you farewell.  And promise abundant birthday weekend pictures when I return.
