Easter Sunday
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
Full of Easter basket gifts.
I keep telling my mom I’m too old for Easter baskets and that she doesn’t have to go through the trouble anymore, but she rarely listens to me.
Full of family.
We had a full house yesterday morning for brunch. Complete with a 3-year-old, a 10-month-old, a crazy dachshund, an out-of-towner and the usual craziness of my family.
Oh and a lot of delicious food. Is there anything better than homemade brunch?
How about homemade brunch and a coffee buzz? Ohhh yeah.
In this family, it’s totally normal to lay the baby in the middle of the kitchen table…
Full of bright colors.
Be it bright shirts. Joey and I dressed as Easter eggs this year.
Bright sunshine. It’s gorgeous here in Colorado. Perfect for park playing and chalk drawing.
Or bright smiles.

How did you spend your Easter Sunday?
Happy Opening Day, Rockies fans!
Oh fabulous family day 🙂
I love Easter! It is such a beautiful time of year, full of great things. It is my second fav holiday after Christmas of course! We spent the day with my family. My beautiful niece was baptized yesterday, then a bbq lunch at my parents, some baseball with the boys and home, and then we ended it with a family walk/jog!!
Hahaha awwww that’s cute your mom still makes you an easter basket! This was my first one without my family around, so it was a little sad, but I spent it with my boyfriend and his family, so it wasn’t so bad!
The optomotry tech I had last week was joking about how she would have her three kids in their twenties out hunting for eggs in the yard. She said she did mugs of candy last year and it just wasn’t right- it had to be baskets. “It’s just what we do as moms!”
My mom has resorted to single bags of candy or small items. Although I wouldn’t complain about a pizza stone.. 😉
Love it! Looks like you had a great holiday! I stopped getting Easter baskets when I was like 10…I’m jealous that your mom still makes them for you! 🙂
Oh my gosh, I am in LOVE with your mom’s kitchen! I want those shelves!! This was actually the first year I think that my mom didn’t make me an Easter basket…I think it’s because my little sister is finally old enough that she doesn’t consider her as much of a child…and I guess she only got me stuff so I wouldn’t get jealous? Eh, doesn’t matter to me…less Easter Bunny visits mean less growth on my hips! 😉
