5 Not So Serious Things to be Grateful For

November 22, 2011

1. Starbucks BOGO

The only thing better than one Caramel Brulee Latte is 2 Caramel Brulee Lattes for $4.

IMG_3343 One for me, one for Mom.

2. Pancakes

And eating said pancakes on a Saturday morning with Joey before the day gets all kinds of crazy busy.

3. Bagels

I had a “thing” for bagels when I was in high school.  I think the employees at my favorite local bagel shop knew I was going to order a “plain on plain toasted” before I even got to the counter.  And I was personally offended when I had to explain what that order meant to a not-so-experienced worker.

I brought 7 bagels home on Saturday, so Joey and I have some bagel work to do this week, and I’m a-okay with that.

4. My llama

Okay, it’s not my llama, per say, but every time I’m plodding along on a run and just want to be done already, this llama keeps me going.

Especially when it’s rolling around on the ground.  If you’ve never seen a llama with it’s feet in the air, you’re really missing out.

5. Tea

I can’t keep track of how many cups I have a day.  I just know all my boxes of tea are almost empty.

I realize a majority of these were food/drink related.  I kinda like food.

Just be glad I didn’t post the picture of me holding my Caramel Brulee Latte.  Right after I’d had a massage.  And my hair was wild and oily.

And yes, I did look like that when I went into Starbucks.  And saw two people I knew and hadn’t seen in years.

Awesome.

    My bed

Haha, now I wish I had a llama rolling around on my route!

+1 on tea.. I’ve been drinking buckets of it (gingerbread is the best!)

Otherwise I’m still grateful for coffee. 🙂 And space heaters!

I can’t get enough tea, two boxes have only 1 bag left and I almost had a panic attack and bought 4 more different boxes this morning to ensure I don’t run out anytime soon 🙂

Haha love this! 1. Tea 2. Peanut Butter 3. Warm Socks 4. Good Books 5. Christmas Music 😀

I’m thankful for magazines. That sounds silly but I have an 8 hour car ride ahead of me!

What is a plain on plain? Plain bagel & plain cream cheese?

I wish I could eat bagels everyday for every meal! My last bagel splurge was a chocolate chip bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese. Ah!
I am thankful for nail polish. I still feel pretty and done up if my nails are painted, even when my wardrobe consists of hoodies and sneakers…

I WANT A RUNNING LLAMA MASCOT! When I saw that I felt I was going to burst into tears with jealousy and overwhelming cuteness from the mere picture.
    You are one lucky girl.
(Epic running motivation too; if you don’t run, the llama will think you’ve died and will have a huge freakout and probably rampage through the whole town trying to find you so he can give you a huge slobbery spit-filled kiss. Therefore, you running is really in everyones best interests!)
The less serious things in life are always my favorite.
-Finding a song on the radio that you probably hate but still end up sprinting around the lounge dancing too it.
-Having an ice cold shower after a hot run and squealing like a piglet.
    -Jumping on trampolines. Enough said.
-Finding incredibly smart comebacks to a comment that is rude, stupid and meaningless and annoying you no end (thats the evil side in me. Whoops.)
    -Reading this blog.

    =)
