Take the Time
September 11, 2011
Today, I hope you take the time to remember what happened on September 11, 2001.
More than that, I hope you take the time to remember the beautiful lives we lost and the way our nation pulled together to fight the devastation.
To me, September 11th means a day when our nation watched and listened to the news in horror and bewilderment.
A day that none of us will forget.
A day that was meant to destroy us, but instead brought us closer together and made us stronger.
I hope you take the time to reflect on what September 11th means to you.

Hard to believe it’s already been 10 years, but maybe it’s because what happened on that day changed the way we live, and we’re still feeling the effects of it today. Great post, Lauren.
