That Time I Became Famous at the Rockies Game

April 18, 2012

I’m officially famous.

I know what you’re thinking.  “Wait, haven’t you always been famous?”  Just kidding.

True story.  Joey and I were in the middle of watching the Rockies game on Friday night.  I was learning how to keep score, when two Rockies employees approached and asked if we wanted to play the “High-Speed Trivia Challenge” between the 5th and 6th inning.  Joey kindly volunteered me to be on camera.  In front of the entire stadium.

Eek.

Let’s be honest, no one can pay attention to scorekeeping when they know they’re about to be on camera in front of thousands of people.  And I’m positive Tulo was watching.  So scorekeeping lasted all of 2.5 innings.  Pretty good if you ask me.

I may have been the one on camera, but I got all the answers from Joey.  And not only did we he correctly answer all three questions, but we got the fastest time, so my name will be on the leader board until someone beats my time.

Which ended up being two days later… wah wah.

And the $25 we won is totally going towards a new Jersey.  I neeeeed one.

Then the Rockies pulled out a win.  I guess you could say it was a pretty exciting game.

And I’d like to never be on camera again, thankyouverymuch.

Have you ever been on camera, radio, etc.?
